While hanging out at a friend's place over the weekend, she and a few others mentioned that my older fireworks photos were better than this year's "new technique".
I have to point out that my 2007 New Year fireworks photos do not do justice to the Japanese photographer that I learnt the technique from, his shots were really amazing. Unfortunately I cannot find his online gallery anymore nor do I remember his name, you'll just have to take my word for it. His technique is really hard to do.
Anyway, I dug out a few old shots that I took back in 2004's Australia Day (26th Jan).
I think that was the first time I tried shooting fireworks, I was using a Canon 300D back then.
This year is my third time shooting fireworks, I am using a Nikon D70s now.
